My name is Danielle.

Last year I left my 15 year career in corporate sales management behind to focus on being a creative, stay-at-home mom.  I’m so fortunate to be able to pursue my passions in baking, cooking, art  and writing as I journey down this rocky road of parenthood.

I am the mother of two brilliant at-home children who keep me on my toes, while also providing creative before and after school care to another 5 or 6.  In other words, I am constantly surrounded by picky, yet willing, taste-testers.

My husband, the true love of my life, is an honest, hard-working man who supports me in, seemingly, everything I do.  I am fortunate he’s also a man with a great appetite!

Though I’m not a professional in the kitchen, by any means, it is my favourite room in my house in which to create.  I love to experiment and develop recipes and this will be my log of success and failure and hopefully along the way, a place to share ideas with old friends and new friends.  For all my foodie friends:

  1. I admire you’re bravery to leave your career to pursue the things in life you really love! That’s wonderful and inspiring!
